Zigeunerweisen, Op. 20

Playing his own transcription of the Sarasate violin spectacular, Zigeunerweisen. According to Gregor Piatigorsky in his book, "Cellist", Foldesy played this often with the Berlin Philharmonic and when Piatigorsky took over as Principal Cellist in Berlin, performing this piece was, previously unbeknownst to him, expected on as regular a basis as Foldesy.
